NDS successfully completed a contract with Agexpront, a Guatemalan NGO funded by USAID, to provide consulting services for four hotels and two restaurants in the towns of Rabinal, Baja Verapaz and Chisec, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. The focus of the contract was to analyze current operations and competition and to create practical work plans, marketing strategies and investment plans in order to draw more tourism-based business. Both of these communities were amongst the most negatively impacted during the 36 year civil war.
